A little over ten years ago, Scott Gallagher
was struggling with drugs and alchohol addictions, and thinking
there was no escape. He eventually realized that helping
others was his way out.
Power of choice is key for addicts
Addictions consist of bad habits that can be
replaced with good habits. Rather than take a victim's role,
it's important to realize that you're not powerless or hopeless.

is something wrong with them which results in feelings of
inferiority and below average self-esteem.

Growing up in Toronto, Scott Gallagher
survived a childhood of being bullied and abused by becoming
the bully. He then developed numerous addictions, starting
with sugar at age 13, and quickly moving on to paint and
varnish remover, alcohol, nicotine and marijuana.

The short answer is yes, but it's not possible without help
and a firm commitment to change.
